Moak/McCartha Scholarship

The Dr. Donald L. Moak/Kenneth R. McCartha Scholarship is given to a high school senior who will be entering college on a full-time basis who has a parent that is employed full-time by an Alabama bank. Applicants will be judged on the basis of scholastic record, financial needs, character, leadership and potential for development. The scholarship has a monetary value of $1000.Anyone who is interested in making a contribution to the Dr. Donald L. Moak/Kenneth R. McCartha Scholarship should send it to the following address:

High School Essay Scholarship

Each year a $1000 scholarship is given to a high school senior. The criteria for the scholarship is based on an essay that is written by the student on the topic that is determined by the essay committee.

Adams Foundation Scholarship
Download Scholoarship ApplicationThe Alabama Bankers Association Young Bankers Section and The Adams Foundation sponsor a one-year scholarship to the Alabama Banking School. The purpose of this scholarship is to enhance the banking skills of the recipient so as to better serve the public by practicing the highest standards of professionalism found in the banking community. This scholarship is supported by the Adams Foundation Scholarship Fund, named after the late Dr. Ralph Adams, former President of Troy State University and Chancellor of the Troy State System.
The winner is chosen through an application process and is given a one-year scholarship to the Alabama Banking School. Applicants must have proved themselves to be good, sound bankers and business people, employing sound banking practices. This scholarship is presented during the annual convention.
